James LaBrie Cancels Tour

James LaBrie has posted on the forum on his web site that he has had to cancel the tour for his new solo album "Static Impulse" because he has been unable to get work visas for a couple of the guys in his solo band. He hopes to be able to reschedule the tour later. Check here for more info.

Halcyon Way Guitarist Diagnosed With Cancer

Halcyon Way guitarist Jon Bodan had been diagnosed with Lymphoma, a form of cancer that attacks the lymph node system. Due to the diagnosis Halcyon Way had cancelled their European tour with Fozzy & Stuck Mojo so he can begin aggressive treatment. As a family member of a Lymphoma survivor my best wishes go out to Jon, his family, and band mates.

Times Of Grace "Strength In Numbers"

Former Killswitch Engage vocalist Jesse Leach and Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz have joined together to record a new album under the moniker Times Of Grace. Their album "The Hymn Of A Broken Man" will be released on January 18th, 2011. Zakk Wylde Cancels Two Shows

Zakk Wylde was forced to cancel two Black Label Society shows, Sept. 30th in Omaha, Nebraska, and Oct. 1st in Clive, Iowa. Zakk was admitted a hospital in Nebraska with blood clots in his leg. He was first diagnosed with blood clots in August, 2009. The tour is scheduled to continue Oct. 2nd, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
